After reading Chapter 1, describe your initial impressions of the following characters: Lily, T. Ray, and Rosaleen. Identify what you feel is their dominant characteristic at this point in the story. I recognize it's early in the book, but give it a try.
In your reaction, be sure to include a specific example from the text to support your claims for each of the characters.
